Accessibility Statement
We work to make sure every person can find information about the treatments and reach out, easily.
Last updated: May 17, 2026Our commitment to accessibility
Shulamit Mordecai considers it of the highest importance that reflexologit.co.il be open, accessible, and pleasant to use for every person — including people with disabilities. We work so that every visitor can find information about the treatments and make contact easily, regardless of vision, hearing, mobility, or cognitive limitations.
The standards by which the site has been made accessible
The accessibility of the site is implemented in the spirit of:
- Israeli Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013
- Israeli Standard SI 5568 — Guidelines for accessibility of web content, AA level
- W3C — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, level AA
What has been made accessible
Among the accessibility adjustments implemented on the site:
- Hierarchical heading structure (H1, H2, H3) that allows convenient navigation with screen readers
- Alt text for images that carry information
- Proper color contrast between text and background
- Full keyboard navigation on the site (Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter)
- Visible focus indicator on every active element
- Forms with clear labels
- Readable text in a comfortable size, with the ability to enlarge through the browser (Ctrl + +)
- Floating accessibility menu offering quick adjustments: enlarging text, high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, motion control, readable font, and expanded line spacing
- Compatibility with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
- Primary language of the page set to English (lang="en"); the Hebrew version sets lang="he"
- Full LTR (English) / RTL (Hebrew) directionality
- "Skip to main content" link allowing screen readers to bypass the navigation
How to use the accessibility menu
On every page of the site, there is a round blue button with a person icon in the bottom-left corner. Clicking it opens the accessibility menu. The adjustments you choose are saved in your browser and will apply when you return to the site.
To close the menu, you can click the X in its corner, click outside the menu area, or press the Esc key. A "Reset" button returns all settings to default.
Physical accessibility at the clinic
The clinic is located in Giv'on HaHadasha, Israel. For information about the physical accessibility of the treatment room — parking, access, restrooms — please be in touch in advance and we will be glad to help with coordination and any needed adjustments.
Known accessibility limitations
Despite our efforts to make all parts of the site accessible, some elements may not yet be fully accessible — particularly content originating from third parties (such as the embedded Google Maps, social-media posts, or video). We are continuously working to improve and maintain accessibility, and we appreciate hearing about any issue you encounter.
Contact us about accessibility
